Solar Lighting Installation Project
Published: July 12, 2024
In our most recent Board of Directors Meeting in June, the Board of Directors presented the solar lighting installation plan to the community.
With that said, we have exciting news to share with the Dove Creek community! Over the course of the next two weeks, we will be installing the solar lights in the Dove Creek park located between Dolcetto Lane and Bindwood Lane. We are excited for this project to have come to fruition, and we are eager to see the finished result. The approval was provided by the Board of Directors via email for this solar lighting project and will be ratified in the next open Board Meeting. This ratification will be done during the Executive Session, which will be included in those meeting minutes.
Initially, you may have noticed that there are some stakes in the ground marking the rough location of the imminent solar light installations throughout the park. Towards the beginning of next week, the first members of the construction crews will be on-site to dig the holes where the solar lights will be installed. Shortly after that, the next phase of the light installation will be the installation of the poles into concrete ballasts. Lastly, once the lighting fixtures arrive, those will be installed as part of the final phase of the project. The Board of Directors, Caspar, and the vendor will then conduct a final walkthrough to ensure that the installation went according to plan.
Upon completion, another notice will be sent out to the community – similar to this one. Naturally, this plan is weather permitting, and is always subject to change.
A few quick requests from the Board of Directors and Essex Association Management:
• We ask that homeowners inform their children to avoid the areas under construction until the project is complete. For your safe, and the safety of your children, we discourage anyone from tampering with construction materials during the course of the project.
• We ask that homeowners do not interfere with the construction crews throughout the entirety of the project. This will help prevent any sort of confusion within the crew’s current plan.
Thank you, all, and I hope everyone is excited as we are for this project to come to fruition!
For any questions, comments, or concerns, please contact us via the “Contact Us” tab on the Associations website and an Essex representative will respond promptly.
